Jarunun (Jaa) Phantachat

Jarunun (Jaa) Phantachat is an award-winning actor, writer, theatre director, and producer. Her physical theatre training includes modern dance, Laban Effort Qualities, Butoh and Viewpoints. She is a co-artist director and founder of B-Floor Theater, a socially-concerned and movement-based theatre group in Bangkok. She has performed in many B-Floor shows and has toured with the company in countries like Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, Denmark, and the USA.

Jarunan participated in Womanifesto II, presenting performances in 1999 in Asranrom Park and at the launch of the Womanifesto publication project, Procreation/Postcreation (Pridi Banomyong Institute, Bangkok, 2023).
