Monthatip Suksopha

Monthatip (b. 1973, Chiang Mai) is the founder of The Wandering Moon & Endless Journey performing group since 1999, and is still the artistic director and master of shadow theatre. She has been working with organisations following her passion for shadow theatre and puppetry in Thailand, Southeast Asia, and beyond. Latest lifetime project is to revive a family space known as Dhepsiri Creative Space, which is set to function to motivate art and creativity  
in Chiang Mai. 

Monthatip participated with Wandering Moon presenting performances at Womanifesto II, Saranrom Park 1999, and for the launch of Womanifesto publication project -Procreation/Postcreation, 2003, at Pridi Banomyong Institute, Bangkok. She showed her installation The Soul in 2023 for Womanifesto: Flowing Connections at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.
