Pattree Chimnok

Pattree Chimnok's (b. 1968, Chiang Rai) work reflects women's points of view and diversity of emotions, also raising moral questions about environmental, social, cultural and political systems. Addressing human rights, her work focuses on the process of exchanging and learning from experiences of people coming from different areas and contexts.

She received her M.F.A. in Visual Art from Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. She works with painting, graphics, sculpture, installation, performance and community art. She has presented at art festivals locally and in Switzerland, Poland, Germany, Norway, Taiwan, Korea, China, Myanmar, and Malaysia. 

Pattree participated in the first workshop held at Baan Womanifesto in Udon Thani, 2003 and performed Story from her in 2023 for Womanifesto: Flowing Connections at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.
